Winter Class Schedule
“In less than nine months of instruction at The
Piano Prep School, I was able to prepare for a
successful audition for the Department of Music at
Wright State University. The piano and vocal
instruction I received was top quality. I was able to
learn vocal skills that played a key role in my
acceptance into the music department. I would
absolutely recommend The Piano Prep School to
anyone who is interested in studying at the
collegiate level.” ~Megan, Voice Major

Private guitar and voice lessons provide a solid
foundation in note-reading, technique and musicianship.
Students enrolled in private lessons may also take
advantage of workshops, group classes and performance
opportunities offered throughout the year.
Our guitar and voice students also enjoy the variety of
Enrichment Classes offered each semester covering a
wide range of topics, including ensembles and language
classes. Students may enroll in two Enrichment Classes
per semester for no additional class fee.
When do you begin private instruction?
Guitar lessons may begin as early as 7 years. Voice lessons do
not typically begin until at least 4th grade.
Instrument requirements
Guitar students must have either an acoustic or classical guitar.
New! Beginning Guitar Class
(Ages 7 - 10 years)
Beginning Guitar offers an introductory opportunity before committing to private lessons. In small groups,
students learn the fundamentals of how to hold a guitar, basic guitar notation and classical guitar
technique. After six weeks, students are able to play several pieces as well as accompaniments to those
pieces. Classes are offered once a week in six-week sessions. Students need to provide their own
classical or acoustic guitar.
Tuition: $65
“We are very pleased with the level of instruction our son receives. His instructor is easy to work with and patient, while setting a high standard of excellence at each lesson." Michael’s dad, Springboro
