Adult Private Lessons
The Piano Prep School offers private lessons in piano, classical guitar, violin/viola and voice for adults. With
more flexibility, private lessons are a good fit for busy adult schedules or for an adult interested in specific
musical goals. Lessons include a wide variety of musical styles.
Lessons are scheduled Monday through Saturday. We offer various adult discounts based on scheduling and
availability. Four-week trial packages are also available.
Adult Group Piano Class
Group piano classes offer an inexpensive and fun alternative for adults who have limited or no previous
experience. Adults work together and individually on a variety of musical styles and basic skills, including
note-reading and rhythm. Group Piano is offered in convenient, six-week sessions. At the conclusion of each
six weeks, adults may choose to continue in the group setting, or transition to private lessons.
Tuition ~ $75, includes adult method book with CD
NEW! Adult Beginning Guitar Class
Beginning Guitar offers an introductory opportunity for adults before committing to private lessons. In small
groups, students learn the fundamentals of how to hold a guitar, basic guitar notation and classical guitar
technique. After six weeks, students are able to play several pieces as well as accompaniments to those
pieces. Classes are offered once a week in six-week sessions.
Tuition ~ $65, includes materials
Instrument Requirements
Adults enrolled in private lessons or group classes must own an instrument before beginning classes. Pianists
must have either a piano or full-length digital piano with weighted keys. Adults enrolled in the Beginning Guitar
Class must provide their own classical or acoustic guitar for class and at-home practice.
